About the Job
Purpose of the Role:
The HR Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all HR practices are compliant with UK employment law, safeguarding standards, and regulatory requirements. You will lead on employee relations, safer recruitment, policy implementation, and workforce compliance, supporting the organisation in meeting inspection and audit standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Ofsted standards and safeguarding legislation. 
  • Manage disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations in line with **ACAS guidelines. 
  • Oversee safer recruitment (DBS, right to work, references, vetting). 
  • Maintain audit-ready HR records and personnel files. 
  • Monitor training compliance and mandatory safeguarding requirements. 
  • Support managers with performance, absence, and conduct issues. 
  • Develop and implement HR policies aligned with legislation. 
  • Maintain HR systems and provide compliance reporting.

Essential Criteria:
  • Proven HR Manager/Senior HR Advisor experience. 
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law. 
  • Experience handling employee relations cases. 
  • Experience in a regulated environment (social care, education, healthcare). 
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and compliance.
  • Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Willing to travel to our homes across South London and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications/Certifications:
  • CIPD Level 5 (minimum) or working towards.
  • CIPD Level 7 (desirable).
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain). 
  • Right to work in the U.K

Pay: From £40,000.00 -   £44,00.00.
